Armed Forces Day Golf Tournament in Plumas Lake, CA

With cooler weather setting the perfect scene, Friday, May 17th 2024 was an ideal day for a game of golf—especially when it was to raise money for the VFW! Roseville Chevrolet was proud to sponsor the Armed Forces Day Golf Tournament, which took place yesterday at the beautiful Plumas Lake Golf Course.

This fantastic event supported the Roy Bourg VFW Post 4095 in Olivehurst, which provides crucial support programs for veterans and their families. The fundraiser successfully generated funds for these vital programs and for improvements to the VFW building on Powerline Road.

The day started early with check-in at 6:30 AM, followed by a ‘shotgun start’ at 7:30 AM. Participants enjoyed a day packed with activities, including breakfast, lunch, exciting prizes, raffles, and a hole-in-one contest where one lucky golfer had the chance to win a brand new Chevy Silverado, courtesy of Roseville Chevrolet. Sponsorship opportunities were embraced by many looking to make a difference.

We are filled with gratitude for everyone who came out to support our veterans. It was a great day of golf for a truly worthy cause.
